Student Wellbeing

Our staff team is here to help you deal with any issues, personal or professional, that may affect your performance as a student. The staff team regularly helps students through health and family issues, and can refer you to external support agencies should you require them.

Please note: Vineyard College observes and is bound by The Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International learners) Code of Practice 2021

  • Vineyard College offers information about physical, mental, emotional and sexual wellbeing to support you throughout your learning journey.

    Please ensure you are registered with a General Practitioner (GP) in your local community. Your GP should be your first contact point for your wellbeing.

    In emergency situations where you or others feel you are in danger, you should immediately contact the police by calling 111. For incidents that are not immediate, you can report the incident to the police on 105.

    Addiction

    Family Violence

    • Family violence help: if you are a victim of family violence or in a relationship that makes you fearful about your own or anyone else's safety, contact the Police immediately.

    • The Ministry of Health provides healthy eating and exercising guidelines.

    Vineyard College has a disputes process to ensure students and stakeholders receive the best and fairest experience possible when studying at Vineyard College.

    Our disputes process is available to all students through the Vineyard College Student hub.

    In 2023, we received one student complaint. Vineyard College followed our complaints processes and procedures and the complaint was resolved to the satisfaction of all parties.
