Block Courses PDF Print E-mail

Most of the time in your internship, you are in your home church doing your practical ministry and studying for your assignments.

However, four times a year there are block courses, of which you should attend two. A block course is where you go away for 3 days, meet other Vineyard College students from round the country, get assignment help and hear lectures from Principal Mark Brickell and other speakers.

On the block courses we cover Old Testament Overview, Early Church History, New Testament Overview and Spiritual Formation.

As well as teaching, there is worship, prayer ministry, fellowship and good food. Oh, and time off to explore the beach or sights!

Accomodation and food are provided, but you should make your own travel arrangements.

Block courses are held in both the North Island and the South Island.

Block Courses 2010:

Mt Maunganui - 22-24 Feb, Pacific Park Christian Holiday Camp, Papamoa

Invercargill - 28-30 Apr, Southern River Church

Mt Maunganui - 20-22 July -Pacific Park Christian Holiday Camp, Papamoa
