Paying For Your Study PDF Print E-mail

Because all Vineyard College courses are NZQA approved, you may be eligible for student loans and allowances.

If you are a New Zealand citizen or have Permanent Residency in New Zealand, you may be eligible to receive financial help with your tuition fees, study and living expenses.

Student Allowance

If you are going to be studying as a full time student for 12 weeks or more, you may qualify for a Student Allowance. This is to help you meet your living costs.

If you are aged between 18 and 23 years old, the level of student allowance depends on the combined income of your parents, unless there are special circumstances. If you are aged over 24, your parents' income is not taken into account.

Student Loan

You may also qualify for a student loan to assist you with fees, course material and living expenses.

For more information and to apply, contact Studylink on Freephone 0800 88 9900 or visit their website: www.studylink.govt.nz

Scholarships

Fees scholarships are available to applicants of Maori and Pasifika ethnicity and in other special cases. Please contact the College if you wish to apply for a scholarship.

Fee Payment

All fees must be paid prior to commencement of the programme of study or course, unless alternative arrangements have been made with the College Principal. All tuition fees in excess of $500 are deposited with the Public Trust.
